Have you ever walked alongside someone you care for as they go through hardship, grief, or a terrible experience? Most of us have, and it can be so difficult to know what to say and what to do to support them in the best way.

My guest today is Kari Bartkus of Love Does That. Kari is building a business around this idea that no one should walk through hardship or grief alone, and she equips others with practical ideas and gifts they can use to be the hands and feet of Jesus to their loved ones who are going through difficult times.

Seeing far too many people go through hardship alone, Kari became determined to show up and be present when those around her were hurting. Through her work at Love Does That, she equips others to do the same, providing practical tips and prayerfully-made gifts that serve as tangible expressions of care. Knowing that encouragement has to come from a place of abiding with Jesus, she also offers creative Bible studies and workshops that invite women to stay close to Him so they can be prepared to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those around them.
Kari and her family live in Indiana where they enjoy small town living and trips to the lake. Deliveries to their home usually mean craft supplies or a new book… or the vanilla chai that Kari likes (maybe a little bit too much). You can visit Kari at her website, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

You can get 10% off your purchase of handmade gifts to support your loved ones at her shop www.lovedoesthat.org using the code LEGACY10. Subscribe to the podcast and connect with me for even more support and training on your legacy brand message.
